Welcome to Highway18.org
Highway18.org was created as a resource for parents and leaders of the Young Men and Young Women of the St. George, Utah North Stake.
Roundtable - 2nd Thursday of Each Month at 7:30 PM
Roundtable is a great way to get trained in Scouting and is a requirement of any calling in the Young Men's, New Scouts, or Cubs. Baden-Powell taught that "Every boy deserves a trained leader, and every leader deserves to be trained".
Roundtable is held the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:30 PM.
Below is a map of where Roundtable is held. The red line shows you the route from Highway 18 to Roundtable. In the upper right corner you can switch to Hybrid to view satellite imagery. You can click and drag around in the map, and use the scale in the upper left to zoom in and out. Now you have NO excuses for not being there.

Start Reserving Your 2009 Summer Camps Now
Now is the time to reserve your space in Scout Camps for Summer 2009. UtahScouts.org has a list of camps in the region, including Maple Dell in Payson Canyon and Scolfield Frontier Base near Helper (43 miles up Payson Canyon).
Varsity Teams and Venture Crews may want to consider camps like Beaver High Adventure Camp on Beaver Mountain or Entrada in Moab.
On Belay is highly recommended for Varsity Teams. It is usually in the middle of July at Beaver High
Adventure Camp. The Stake will pay 50% of the registration for each
Varsity and leader that attends On Belay. It is great training and
great fun (muzzle loader and archery, looong zip line, rapelling, hawks
and knives, etc). Be certain to register for the correct course, as
they are different and ours is by far the best... :}
Slots at these camps fill up fast, so register early!
